PRETTY GERMAN CHILD DOLL. Head incised “GERMANY HEINRICH HANDWERCK SIMON & HALBIG”. She has brown sleep eyes, enameled eyebrows, finely painted upper and lower lashes, pierced ears, open mouth with four upper teeth on the original fully jointed Handwerck body. The dress is possibly original and is a pale bluish-green silk with lace trim collar and sleeves with an additional large lace collar and pink sash and silk purse. Wig is antique curly human hair with an additional garland of artificial flowers. SIZE: 24″ (61cm). CONDITION: Appears very good; however wig not able to be removed, but no visible signs of damage upon inspection. Few minor rust stains on dress. 1-10796 (300-500)
