LARGE ANTIQUE SILVER-PLATED PRESENTATION FIREMEN’S SPEAKING TRUMPET. The trumpet with an oval vertical vignette on the front where the presentation would normally be inscribed is framed with garlands of flowers and vines as well as firemen’s ladders and pipes. The base of the trumpet is embellished also with two oval panels for engraved names and embellished with various flowers and vines. Dates approximately 1850 to 1870’s. SIZE: 19” h. CONDITION: Plating pretty well worn and a couple of slight almost unnoticeable dents in the shaft, otherwise a great old genuine firemen’s trumpet. 4-50172 (1,000-2,000)
