LARGE 1 GAUGE LOCOMOTIVE AND TENDER BUILT BY BASSETT LOWKE LTD. NORTH HAMPTON. Original wooden box with label on end. #13000. Cab roof is black. Boiler and cab sides are beautiful dark maroon. Walkway, steam chest and dome is black. Yellow gold pin stripping. Wheel arrangement is a 2-6-0 with large 6 wheel tender. Live steam engine. Numerous controls inside cab including whistle. SIZE: Buffer to buffer is 24-3/4″ l X 5-1/2″ h. CONDITION: One small dent on top of boiler. This area looks as though it may have been redone at one time. Some flaking near boiler tank. Wheel and mechanism appear to be fine. Very good +. Wheels are off tender, Engine has original burner but loose. Some chips, very minor scuffing. Overall very nice. 1-5452 EC (1,500-2,000)
