ATTRIBUTED TO ARTHUR FITZWILLIAM TAIT (American, 1819-1905) TAKING AIM. Fine large oil on canvas landscape hunting scene shows two hunters with two dogs, one taking aim at a startled buck with doe. The scene is next to a small stream with mountain and hillside background. Unsigned. Housed in a fine period gesso decorated leaf and flower motif antique frame. SIZE: 26” x 36”.
