JOSEPH LAUBER (American 1855-1948) “A GLOUCESTER STUDIO”. Fine oil on canvas interior studio scene shows two art students standing wearing artist smocks and painting harbor scenes set on easels. The studio has other works of art scattered about and another man sits in front of a canvas set on a chair. Signed lower right. Housed in a modern gilt gesso decorated frame, the back having a “Salmagundi Club Annual Oil Exhibition” tag. SIZE: 20″ x 24″. CONDITION: Some inpainting, very good. 9-26135 (2,000-3,000)
