Unframed oil on canvas battle scene shows a large group of African soldiers with guns and swords battling uniformed men in pith helmets. In foreground is a close up view of two soldiers battling to the death. The background has a tall mountain peak and other mountains. Signed lower left “C. Tafuri Roma AXVI”. SIZE: 23-1/2” x 29-1/2”.
