T. M. NICHOLAS (American 1963-) “MORNING AT THE BOATYARD”. Oil on canvas, Essex, Mass, scene shows 3 men working on a white and green hulled boat while another works beside. A nice Summer scene with colorful blue sky and green grass. Signed lower left. Housed in a fine gilt carved wood frame with wide gilt liner. Titled and signed on stretcher, also having a North Shore Arts Association label on reverse. NOTE: This example by one of the most renowned contemporary Cape Ann painters won the Frederick Mulhaupt Memorial Award in the 2007 North Shore Art Association show. SIZE: 24″ x 30″.
