LEATHER A-2 FLYING JACKET. The reverse side of this jacket has a pair of multi-piece leather identification flags worn by “The Flying Tigers”. One which describes in Chinese a reward offered for the safety of the downed flyer. The left front bears an outline of a pilot’s wing and 20 small silhouettes of the Himalayan mountains indicating 20 trips over the “Hump”. Manufactured by “The Cable Raincoat Co.” SIZE: 40. CONDITION: The leather is in good to fine condition. There is a circular mark on the right sleeve indicates the possibility of presence of a patch now removed. The cuffs and waistband show minor wear and mothing. 4-50164 CW11 (3,500-4,500)
