CARVED AND PAINTED WOOD FIGURE OF A SOLDIER. The soldier is dressed in a blue and red coat with white pants and tall boots. He wears a Colonial style hat and has nicely carved facial features. His hands are crossed in front of his chest with one hand cupped to probably hold a flag. Nice whittle marked throughout figure. Probably first half of the 20th Century. SIZE: Figure stands 62-1/2” h. Total is 68-1/2” h. CONDITION: Some scuffing to paint, some minor age cracking. Chip missing from side of hat. Generally very good. 9-27514 (2,000-4,000)
