VERY PRETTY EMILE JUMEAU BEBE. Head is incised “DEPOSE E6J”, body is stamped in blue “JUMEAU MEDAILLE PARIS”. Her best feature undoubtedly is her blue sparkling paperweight eyes as well as her fine facial painting. She comes on her original fully jointed body with straight wrists and eight separate ball joints. Costume is replaced but entirely appropriately made with all antique fabrics. Wig is a 1960s era light brown human hair with long sausage curls. Shoes are most likely homemade and from old oil cloth and well match the jacket of the dress. SIZE: 15-1/2″ (39cm). CONDITION: Body retains original finish. There is an old restoration to forehead, which one does not notice until light is inserted into the head. 1-10644 (1,500-2,500)
