LUCAS VAN LEYDEN (Dutch, 1494-1533) “ST. GERARD”. Etching depicts religious figure with staff holding heart with arrow. Simple black frame with brown matte. Whole image is seen. Black line around edge is fully seen with no margin. Identified on back as circa 1517, purchased February 1973. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Peter Hukill, Torrington, CT. SIZE: 4-1/4” x 2-3/4”.
