SIMON & HALBIG CHARACTER DOLL. Desirable doll with expressive features, incised “S & H 1279 DEP Germany 11”. She has an open mouth with four upper teeth, dimples in both cheeks, so-called “flyaway” enameled eyebrows, and evenly painted eyelashes. She is on a fully jointed wooden composition body and wears her original blond mohair wig with bangs. She has been redressed in a burgundy and black striped taffeta dress with lace and black velvet ribbon trim. SIZE: 22″ (56cm). CONDITION: Very good; eyes reset in stationary position and left upper thigh has some repaint. 1-10563 (1,200-1,800)
