RARE GRAND SIZED FRENCH MECHANICAL CYCLIST ATTRIBUTED TO VICHY. Circa 1870s, this outstanding cast metal clockwork tricycle features unusual carved wheel spokes, fancily curved front design, red and gold finish and bone tipped handle grips. Seated upon the tricycle is a bisque headed doll believed to be by Jumeau with black sculpted curly hair, brown glass eyes, original lorgnette (drilled into nose), metal hands, and papier-mache boots in the style of a fashion doll.
