Oil on canvas scene shows the deck of a fishing boat with four young men who have recently returned from a days fishing trip with four large baskets of mackerel. Two young women are on deck conversing with the Captain. In the background are several other fishing boats under light sky. Signed lower left “R. Farren, 1880″. Housed in a gilt carved wood frame.
