EARLY CLOSED MOUTH KESTNER DOLL. Head is incised “13”; she has brown glass sleep eyes, a closed pouty mouth and an extra roll of fat at the nape of the back of the neck. She is on her original early wood and composition body with straight wrists and wears an original blond mohair wig over plaster pate. Antique costume consists of a one piece black top with red skirt having feather stitching and a matching vest and sash in the same red as skirt. The undergarments, socks and shoes are all antique and in addition she has a black lamb’s wool cape and a dyed black fur muff with a newer black and red bonnet with cloth red roses. SIZE: 18″ (46cm).
