WINIFRED MARIE AUSTEN (British, 1876-1964) “RETURN OF AUTUMN, FIELD FARES”. Outstanding watercolor of four birds on an oak tree branch with yellow/green leaves. Birds appear to be Thrushes or Finches having brown, gray and white bodies with yellow beaks. On reverse are two labels. One from the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours with title and artist name. The other label is from Roland Ward, LTD. London with title and artist. Flat gold frame with watercolored matte. SIGHT SIZE: 10” x 14”. CONDITION: Very good. 9-94317 (1,750-2,250)
