IVORY AND EBONY JEWELRY CHEST. Ebony cased jewelry chest has hinged lift lid with inside inset square mirror. The top has a decorative ivory panel with cherubs and flowers. The sloping cover has line ivory inlay. Interior of top section has three small drawers and four small segmented areas. Pinned fall front cover drops down to reveal seven drawers with central drawers having two back secret drawers. The lid has similar central ivory panel and line inlay as top. Piece rests on four turned wood replaced turned feet. SIZE: 10-3/4” h x 11” w x 8” d. CONDITION: Lid hinges have come unattached. Front drop hinges are damaged. Some damage to inlay, needs some restoration. 9-93997 (1,000-2,000)
