GEORGE WILLIAM DINCKEL (American, 1891-1976) THE POSEIDON. Oil on canvas harbor scene shows the sword fishing boat “The Poseidon” with her smaller boat tied to bow. The boat was captained by Henry L. Oakes, Dr. and built in the early 1930’s. Housed in what appears to be its original carved and gilt wood frame. Signed lower right. SIZE: 25″ x 30″. CONDITION: Very good. 9-98196 (2,500-3,500)
