JOSEPH MARGULIES (American, 1896-1984) “LOBSTER SHED, PIGEON COVE”. Oil on canvas Rockport scene shows the small inlet harbor at Pigeon Cove. The foreground with lobster shacks and boats with the dock and granite slag pile beyond, all under a colorful sky. Signed lower right. Housed in a gilt molded wood modern frame which has on reverse a Canton Art Institute Exhibition label from the “Legacy of Cape Ann” exhibition “1995”. SIZE: 23-3/4″ x 29-1/2″.
