The watercolor portrait of George depicting a boy with long curly brown hair and blue eyes, with buttoned blouse and brown pantaloons holding a hat in right hand with a toy top next to him, the lower right corner marked in script “____ yrs. 6-mos. old”. The portrait of Josephine depicting a young girl with brown hair and light-colored eyes, with necklace and purse wearing a blue dress and pantaloons, a faded floral-filled urn beside her, marked in script in lower right corner, “Aged 4. yrs. 6 mo.”. SIZE: Each 6″ x 5-1/4″. PROVENANCE: By descent through the original family to the current owner. CONDITION: Both in original condition, colors faded, paper yellowed, some “foxing”.
