BAKER GUN CO STERLING GRADE SINGLE BARREL TRAP GUN. Cal. 12 ga. Early single bbl trap gun with 32” full choke bbl that has a high-ventilated rib with double ivory beads. Receiver is flat sided, resembling the Ithaca with nice engraved game scenes of a bird dog on the left side and two woodcock on the right side, surrounded by fine arabesque patterns. Wood is straight grain walnut with lever release beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock 13-7/8” over an amateur installed White Lion pad. SN 51176. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl retains about 95% strong original blue with a spot or two of light surface rust and fine pitting. The receiver retains virtually all its original fine blue. Wood is sound and retains about 90% original varnish with some mildew on the stock. Ejector works fine. Bright shiny bore. 4-49226 JR101 (1,000-1,500)
