BEAUTIFUL CABINET SIZE INCISED “DEPOSE JUMEAU”. Head is incised “DEPOSE JUMEAU 3” with the body stamped in blue “JUMEAU MEDAILLE D’OR PARIS”. She has almond shaped blue paperweight eyes, closed mouth with slight space between her lips, pierced ears, and she is on her original fully jointed wood and composition body with straight wrists with no signs of wear or repaint to the body. Antique blond mohair wig is most likely original to the doll as are her shoes which are stamped in gold “Bebe Jumeau Paris Depose” and “5”. The cranberry cotton dress with lace overlay with matching hat is an excellent old copy of a period Jumeau costume. SIZE: 12″ (30cm) CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 1-10651 (3,000-5,000)
