AMERICAN CONTINUOUS ARM WINDSOR CHAIR. late 18th Century. Molded crest rail continuing to arms with flattened paddle grips over seven spindles joined to a plank seat raised on splayed simulated bamboo legs joined by a conforming H-stretcher. SIZE: 35-1/2″ h to top to back; 17-1/2″ seat h. CONDITION: Stripped and refinished, legs having approximately 4″ splice at foot of each leg, no other visible repairs beyond oversanding and some filling. 9-91367 (400-600)
