EXTREMELY RARE SERIES F JULES STEINER DOLL. Seldom found petite Steiner child doll with head incised “Sie F 3/0”. She has open/closed mouth with four small molded and painted teeth, with deep dimples on both sides of the mouth and chin, brown paperweight eyes with well painted lashes and feathered eyebrows, well defined ears with pierced lobes and relatively pale bisque with rouged cheeks. She is on her original fully jointed, unmarked body with straight wrists and short, stubby fingers. She still retains her original Steiner cardboard pate covered by the remnants of what had been an original sheepskin wig. Costume is antique dark brown pleated silk with low waistband, fine lace collar with sleeves trimmed in same lace. The shoes are newer black leather boots with higher heels and covering the original sheepskin wig is a newer brown human hair wig with long corkscrew curls. SIZE: 10-1/4″ (26cm). CONDITION: Very good but missing pinky finger on left hand. 1-10642 (6,000-10,000)
