MICHAEL B. KARAS (American, 1954-) “OPEN SEA”. Large oil on canvas seascape shows crashing waves under cloudy sky with a break showing the sun with bright rays glistening on the ocean and wave edges. A ship’s light can be seen on the horizon. Signed lower right and dated “79”. Pencil titled on back stretcher. Housed in a good silver gilt molded wood frame with linen liner. SIZE: 24″ x 36″.
