*PARKER VHE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN TWO BARREL SET. Cal. 12 ga. Built on a 1-1/2 frame with 26” bbls, choked , Skeet In/Skeet Out and a 28” set of bbls, choked, IMP-MOD/IMP-CYL with a beavertail forearm for each set of bbls. The 28” bbls appear to be later additions. The receiver is case colored with light border decorations and “PARKER” on the bottom. It has nicely figured wood with semi pistol grip stock, 14-1/8” over a leather-faced black waffle pad. It is equipped with Parker single trigger and ejectors. Accompanied by a white canvas cloth sleeve. SN 240288. CONDITION: Very fine. The 26” bbls retain 96-98% strong bright original blue, as do the 28” bbls. The receiver retains 40-45% strong case colors, bright in sheltered areas with the balance turned silver. Wood is sound with the stock retaining most of an old professionally restored finish with numerous small scratches at the butt. The forearms retain most of their custom finish with #2 being somewhat crazed. Both sets of bbls have bright shiny bores. 4-49015 JR79 (3,000-5,000)
