Fine watercolor shows a young man seated on a three legged stool holding the arm of a colorfully dressed young maiden who is standing, leaning against post. Interior scene appears to be workshop, which has some furniture and tools. A wheelbarrow and a chicken on dirt floor. Signed lower right “Herman ten Kate”. Replaced frame with double matte.
