*AYA MODEL 1 SIDELOCK DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 410. Very high grade AYA with hand detachable side locks, double triggers and ejectors with the front trigger articulated. Bbls are 26”, choked IMP-MOD/IMP-CYL with double lump and double bite. It has a smooth concave rib with the maker’s name and address and the left bbl is marked “W.L.Moore”. The receiver has hand detachable side locks with cocked indicators and full coverage extremely fine English style rose and scroll engraving, very well executed. It has “Safe” inlaid in gold on the top tang. Wood is very nicely figured walnut with checkered splinter forearm and straight stock with teardrop sidepanels, 14-1/2” over a checkered butt. It has an oval gold initial plate. SN 540946. CONDITION: Extremely fine, appears new, possibly fired but if so very little. Retains virtually all its fine factory finish to both metal and wood.
