Watercolor in the Grandma Moses style, scene shows a large farming homestead with yellow connected house, red barn, windmill and fences. A logging operation is going on with a team of horses and oxen. Men are seen cutting and moving wood with one fallen tree and other trees. Signed lower right “CB Allerton 1952”.
