*COLT MODEL 1911 COMMERCIAL GOV’T MODEL. CAL. 45 ACP. Blued finish, usual configuration with diamond checkered walnut grips. The front strap is very nicely checkered with a diamond in the center. Early, long spur hammer, long trigger and short grip safety with an arched main spring housing. Accompanied a WWII military magazine. The bbl is a “F” & “P” proofed military bbl and the slide has military markings. The bottom edges of the grips are stamped “HCG”. SN C89749 (1917 production). CONDITION: Very good with the noted changes. Retaining about 90% blue overall with the frame thin toward the front and gray front strap, grips are fine with moderate wear, bright shiny bore. 4-45802 (500-800)
