LONG LANCE OR BOARDING PIKE. 13-1/4″ diamond shaped spear point damascus blade, probably of European origin. 1-1/8″ at the widest area with decorated base mounted in a 72-3/4″ round wood haft with old iron tack decorations and the remnants of red cloth decorations. CONDITION: The blade is heavily pitted and has been wire-wheeled cleaned. The haft possibly a replacement retains most of an old repaint. 4-45778 JL386 (500-800)
