NAKAMACHI STYLE WAKIZASHI. Signed Hiromasa . Two character signature on nakago. An old shira saya with saya gaki signed sagami nokuni hiromasa. Also dated but cannot translate. Good condition blade with bohei on one side and sand skict characters on both sides. Probably Buddhist in nature. Old nakago is old, dark, rust and ubu with two makugi-ana. Thin suguha hamon and itame hada. Blade is in very good condition with only a few minor rust spots. No habaki. would probably polish well. I believe this blade dates from late Koto to mid Shinto Period. Overall excellent condition. 4-45138 PQ6 (550-1200)
