JAPANESE CIVILIAN KATANA. Blade length 28 3/4″. Of Second World War manufacture with Showa stamp on tang. Signed four character signature. Appears to be of the oil-tempered variety. Brass tsuba, plain fuchi kishira, gold and sakudo.menuki, brass habaki. Poor saya with many chips and splits. Overall condition is very good. 4-44724 PQ4 (300-500)
