*COLT ARGENTINE NAVY GOVERNMENT MODEL SEMI-AUTO PISTOL. CAL 45 ACP. A 1941 production Commercial Gov’t. Model with 1911A1 features. Right side of slide below the ejection port is marked “REPUBLICA ARGENTINA/ARMARDA NACIONAL-1941” with standard commercial Colt markings elsewhere and the Argentine crest on top side of slide in front of rear sight. The slide fitted with orig. Schwartz safety, which is complete. Fitted with full checkered walnut grips and an all blue commercial magazine. SN C200995 CONDITION: Good to very good. Frame retains 75-80% bright, orig. blue with gray front strap and main spring housing. Slide has been cleaned with an abrasive material leaving it mostly white with blue in sheltered areas. Grips show much wear and the left has a crack around the lower escutcheon. Strong, bright bore with frosting in the grooves. 4-45396 JL127 (500-1000)
