*LC SMITH FIELD GRADE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. CAL. 12ga. Usual configuration with 26″ bbls, choked FULL/MOD with tapered matted rib and single brass bead on a featherweight frame with case colored receiver and side locks. it is fitted with double triggers and extractors, checkered wood with splinter forearm and semi-pistol grip stock, 15″ over a black waffle pad. The wood is 14″ and does not appear to have been cut. SN FW59432 CONDITION: Very good. The bbls retain 92-94% orig. dull blue with scattered fine surface rust. The receiver and lock plates retain 85-90% fading case colors with the balance turning gray. The trigger guard has about 95% orig. blue. The stock has the obligatory hairline cracks behind the lock plates, otherwise the wood is sound and retains most of an old refinish, probably coinciding with the installation of the pad. The bores are excellent, bright and shiny, in need of a good cleaning. A couple of the lock plate screws are slightly battered. This would make a fine field gun. 4-45510 JL330 (750-1,250)
