*SPECTACULAR LUCCHINI SIDE BY SIDE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. CAL: 12ga. Sidelock action with 27-7/8” barrels, double lump & third fastener, tapered matted rib with single bead, single trigger and ejectors. About 32-line checkering on the splinter forearm and straight stock, which is 14” over a checkered butt. The receiver and sidelocks are beautifully engraved with very fine rose and scroll patterns and bank note scenes with a flock of mallards in a marsh scene on the left lock plate and a jumping raebuck or chamois in a woodland scene on the right lock plate. The floorplate is a scene with a dog chasing a rabbit. The trigger guard and lower tang are lightly engraved with identical patterns with right hand configuration. The receiver, lock plates, trigger guard, foreend iron and tangs are all coin finish. The wood is spectacular, marbled grain French or walnut with teardrop side panels, 1-1/2” drop at the comb and 2-1/8” at the heel with a slight cast off. WEIGHT 7.1lbs. SN 53986.
