*FINE MERKEL TYPE OVER/UNDER SHOTGUN. CAL. 20 ga. choked improved cylinder and full. Marked “JOSEF JUST – FERLACH / AUSTRIA” with an arrow pointing towards the marking on each end on top of the bbl. rib. The coin-finished action has detachable locks engraved with bird scenes on both sides and a pointer on the bottom. Trigger guard, safety and brake lever are blued. A light buff leather cover has been crudely added over the black rubber recoil pad. SN 24236. CONDITION: Near excellent overall with slight wear on the edges of the solid rib and at the muzzles apparently from a sleeve or a carrying case. Currently housed in a Browning hard case with snap caps and bore gauge. There are minor dents on the wood with the sweat marks at the grip and forearm.
