*WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. CAL. 38-55. Standard grade rifle with 26″ oct. bbl, full magazine, half-nickel front sight and semi-buckhorn rear sight, uncheckered wood with straight stock and crescent steel buttplate. SN 332803 CONDITION: Good to very good. The bbl and magazine tube retain about 90% blue, thin on the bbl, stronger on the magazine tube. The top flat of the bbl has a couple of good dings, the receiver retains 40-50% thinning blue, primarily in the sides, traces of case colors on the lever and hammer in sheltered areas. The wood is sound with most of an amateur refinish that slopped over onto the metal. Bright shiny bore. 4-44550 JL29 (400-700)
