WINCHESTER 1ST MODEL HOTCHKISS BOLT ACTION CARBINE. CAL. .45-70. Standard carbine with 24″ round bbl, military sights, 1-pc stock with smooth carbine butt and a saddle ring attached to the left side of the stock. SN 2063. CONDITION: About good. The metal with a medium gray/brown patina, smooth and un-cleaned. The stock has a hairline back of the cut-off and retains most of an amateur refinish. The cut-off plate is missing two screws. Bright shiny bore. Would make a good cowboy action shooter. 4-44649 JL56 (300-500)
