WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. CAL. 45-70. Standard grade rifle with 26″ oct. bbl, full magazine, uncheckered wood with straight stock and crescent steel buttplate. The receiver has been drilled and tapped with a Williams peep sight mounted. The stock has a non-factory sling swivel stud. The bbl is mounted with a tall, replacement front sight and a Lyman Model 6A rear sight missing one leaf. SN 68158 CONDITION: Good to very good. Retains about all of a recent refinish with cyanide color receiver, lever and hammer. The wood is sound and also refinished with a smoothed out gouge in the left side of the buttstock.
