WINCHESTER MODEL 1876 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. CAL. .50-95. Standard grade rifle with 26″ oct. bbl, full magazine, half-nickel front sight, flat top rear sight, uncheckered wood with straight stock and crescent steel buttplate. The dust cover is marked “WINCHESTER EXPRESS / 50 CAL. 95 GRS.” Accompanied by a Cody Firearms Museum “yellow sheet” identifying this rifle, with shipping date of 06/03/85. SN 45007. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains virtually all of what appears to be a factory restored finish with minor flaking on the receiver and sideplates. The lever, hammer and trigger retain virtually all their orig. case colors. The buttplate is dark, but may clean to reveal case colors.
