WINCHESTER MODEL 1866 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. CAL. 44RF. Standard rifle with 24″ oct. bbl, full magazine, silver blade Rocky Mountain front sight with a Spencer ladder rear sight. Uncheckered wood with straight stock and crescent brass buttplate. SN 154908 CONDITION: Good. The iron retains a medium brown patina with light surface rust. The brass, polished a long time ago with rounded edges, is now a light mustard patina with small nicks and dings. The forearm is missing a small chip from the right barrel channel and there is a small splice on the left side. The stock has a hairline on the left wrist and is possibly an old replacement. The wood retains most of an old refinish. Strong dark bore. 4-45295 Z215 (3,500-4,500)
