This rifle is beautifully engraved on the receiver, foreend cap and buttplate tang with arabesque pattern scrolls with a flower in the panel forward of the left sideplate, typical of John Ulrich’s work. These three items are nickel plated. The stock and buttplate are numbered to the receiver. Accompanied by a 3-page letter from George Madis describing this rifle in great detail and certifying its authenticity.
