EMIL KERNER HEAVY SCHUTZEN RIFLE. CAL. 8.15X46R. Heavy schutzen with 31-1/2″ oct. bbl, V-groove front sight with large disk vernier rear sight. It is fitted with schnable tipped forearm with small checkering on the bottom, a finger rest/pistol grip lever, double set triggers and a massive schutzen buttstock with short horn schutzen buttplate. The bottom flat of the bbl. under the forearm is marked with “BUG” proofs the cal. & ser. no. The top of the receiver is marked “ORIGINAL-SYST-AYDT”. Ser. 833. CONDITION: Good to very good. All the metal has been cleaned to bright and the mid-range bbl sight grooves removed. The wood is sound with only minor nicks and chips on the edges of the stock and retains most of a fine, old refinish. Excellent bright shiny bore. 4-45459 JL288 (800-1,200)
