H. PETIGEAN DOUBLE BARREL PERCUSSION PISTOL. CAL. 54. Unusual dbl. bbl pistol with 4-3/4″ cannon bbls, dbl. hammer and single trigger in a wide box lock action. Nipples have hinged safety covers and action has light engraving on both sides. The bag shaped grip is 1-pc with silver wire inlay. CONDITION: About good. Bbls retain 30-40% blue with balance of metal a light gray patina. Both hammer noses are mashed with some edge material missing from having been dry fired on safety blocks. Stock is sound, missing some of wire inlay and retains no orig. finish with oil staining around the tang. Good mechanics. 4-45456 Z155 (500-1,000)
