CUSTER RANGE MARTIALLY MARKED COLT ARTILLERY MODEL SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER. CAL. 45 Colt. Usual artillery configuration with 5-1/2″ bbl, small “US” on the frame below the cylinder on left side, bullseye ejector rod head with replacement second type ejector rod housing. 1-pc walnut grips. SN 5150 CONDITION: Excellent. All matching numbers including the bbl retaining virtually all of an outstanding professionally restored finish to both blue and case colors. The various parts have the small “A” inspector marks. Bbl address is thin but legible, back strap serial number has only the 1 and 0 visible. Several replaced screws. Grips are sound with chips missing from the toes and retain most of the refinished varnish. Bore is strong with fine pitting.
