COLT MODEL 1860 PERCUSSION REVOLVER. CAL. 44. Usual configuration and markings with 8″ bbl with Naval battle cylinder scene, 3-screw frame cut for shoulder stock and 1-pc walnut grips. The entire revolver has been silver-plated and has various inspector marks over the different pieces and parts. SN 144690 CONDITION: As noted. Otherwise very good to excellent retaining virtually all its silver-plating which was applied over some very fine pitting on the bbl lug. Hammer nose shows a welded repair possibly reconverted from a cartridge model. Excellent mechanics with excellent orig. grips and a strong bore with scattered pitting.
