COLT 1860 ARMY CIVIL WAR-ERA PERCUSSION REVOLVER. CAL. .4. Standard Army with 8″ round bbl, brass trigger guard, iron back strap, with 1-pc walnut grip. There are various small inspector marks on different parts of the revolver having no “U.S.” on the frame but there are the outlines of cartouches on the grips. Accompanied by a homemade wood box containing a nipple wrench and small flask with an Eley cap box. SN 125527 CONDITION: Good to very good, all matching. Retains most of a reblued finish with about 40% thin cylinder scene. Very good grips, strong dark bore. Case is good. 4-44634 JL94 (500-800)
