OIL ON CANVAS ILLUSTRATION OF A MOUNTAIN LION HUNTING SCENE BY HOWARD L. HASTINGS. Nicely executed, framed painting, 29-3/4″ x 20-1/2″ depicting a high mountain scene with a treed mountain lion, four black and tan hounds in the foreground and two hunters approaching on horseback in the background. The dog and lion details are very good and capture the essence of a lion hunt. The frame is rustic wood. CONDITION: Fine with what appears to be one or two old repairs and a small damage on the lead horse. The image is sharp and clean with the colors vivid and bright.
