BRASS HANDLED FIGHTING KNIFE OR DIRK. Appears to have been cut down from a musician sword with a 9-3/4″ double-edged blade, small elliptical German silver hand guard and ribbed brass handle with ball pommel. The pommel has a rectangular hole of the type used to secure a knuckle guard on a sword. CONDITION: The blade is mostly a brown patina with rust pitting and scattered nicks. The handle is medium mustard yellow with nicks and dings. 4-45085 JL185 (200-300)
